Overview

Our mission is to enable all people to do the best work of their lives—the first act in achieving that mission is to help companies automate tedious but critical business processes. This RPA challenge should showcase your ability to build a bot for purposes of process automation.

Challenge

  1. Your challenge is to automate the process of extracting data from Amazon.com. Checkout our RPA Challenge Shopping List file, it contains a list of items our user wants to buy (please make a copy of the file for this challenge). The bot should take each item from the list, go to Amazon.com, search for this item, and fill in the price and URL for the cheapest offer found. The lowest price should include shipping and tax.
  2. After the work is done, the bot should send an email with the results and an attached Excel file to a defined recipient, in this case bertin.dcruz@electronikmedia.com.
  3. Create this bot using Python, RPA Framework, and/or Robot Framework.

This exercise is meant to be open ended, and the expectation is that you spend no more than 5 hours working on it.
